Travel Corner: Mt Fuji

~10 Must Do's for your Mt Fuji Travels~

For those of you who do not already know, i lived in Japan for about 3 years. It was a fantastic and amazing experience. I climbed Mt Fuji three times. The most enjoyable climb was when i stayed overnight and watched the Sunset and Sunrise. It was a breathtaking view and provided the perfect end to a long day of Hiking. Below are 10 interesting, maybe helpful? things i learned on my climbs.

1. Bring a coat it will get a bit Nippy.

2. Bring Snacks, if you are anything like me long hikes = rumbly tummies.

3. Don't be surprised if you see American's jogging and singing up the Mountain.Crazy people.

4. If you are not used to high altitude climbing bring Oxygen or Viagra. Yes Viagra.

5. Buy a walking stick and get it stamped at the stations on the way up. Provides that Yay! feeling.

6. Most people begin hiking at station 5 or 8. They are cheaters -_-.

7. The mountain is a lot prettier from far away. They close it in winter due to the snow.

8. Lava Rocks everywhere. Do not try to take one home as a cheap souvenir. They will catch you.

9. You must have a Miso soup at the top of the Mountain. It will be the greatest soup of your life.

10. The sunrise is almost otherworldly, i highly recommend seeing it at least once.

Those are my main Ten things to know about your climb for Mt. Fuji. Leave any questions and comments below. I should have a video for this on My channel this next week. Thanks guys.
